        葡聚糖凝膠是一種珠狀的凝膠，含有大量的羥基，很容易在水中和電解質(zhì)溶液中溶脹。G型的葡聚糖凝膠有各種不同的交聯(lián)度，因此它們的溶脹度和分級(jí)分離范圍也有所不同。葡聚糖凝膠的溶脹度基本上不因鹽和洗滌劑的存在而受影響。
        葡聚糖凝膠有不同的粒度。超細(xì)級(jí)的葡聚糖凝膠是用于需要極高分辨率的柱色譜和薄層色譜。粗級(jí)和中級(jí)的凝膠用于制備性色譜過程，可在較低的壓力下獲得較高的流速。另外，粗級(jí)也可用于批量工藝。

        Dextran gel is a bead shaped gel containing a large amount of hydroxyl and easily swelled in water and electrolyte solutions. G type dextran gel has different cross-linking degrees, so their swelling degree and separation range are also different. The swelling degree of dextran gel is basically not affected by the presence of salt and detergent.

        Dextran gel has different particle sizes. Ultrafine dextran gel is used for column chromatography and thin layer chromatography with high resolution. Crude and intermediate gels are used in the preparation chromatography process, and can obtain higher flow rates at lower pressures.
