        淡黃色黏稠液體，有特殊的肉桂香味。相對密度1.049（20℃/4℃），熔點(diǎn)-7.5℃，沸點(diǎn)253℃（部分分解），127℃（2.13Kpa），折射率1.6195，閃點(diǎn)71℃。易溶于乙醇、乙醚、氯仿和油脂，溶于丙二醇，難溶于水和甘油。在空氣中易被氧化成硅酸，能隨水蒸汽揮發(fā)。大白鼠經(jīng)口LD502.22g/kg，大白鼠MNL125mg/kg，AD尚未規(guī)定（FAO/WHO，1994）。
        用途
        1.用作保Chemicalbook鮮劑，我國規(guī)定可用于水果的保鮮，按生產(chǎn)需要適量使用。還可作為食用香料。
